In the year 2020, which was a rather turbulent year, Zoloo Video extended an invitation to me to work with some incredibly talented artists and edit their music videos. I was fortunate enough to reunite with my old friend, Gabriel Rischbieter, who provided the art direction for my editing and finishing. The lead artist from Curitiba, Raissa Fayet, performed a song that she co-wrote with Ju Strassacapa, an artist from São Paulo who is well-known for being a singer in Francisco El Hombre, a famous band that fuses Brazilian and Mexican music. They also invited the renowned Brazilian singer, Maria Gadu, to be a part of the music video. The song delves into the theme of fighting against the capitalistic system that disregards nature and how it affects us. I was deeply moved by the song and the singers’ voices, but what resonated with me the most was the message of human significance.
